My name is David Taylor and I moved to Mesquite in 2017 with my wife and three sons. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In 2013 I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
I worked for The Division of Child and Family Services in Las Vegas for 15 years. While there I was a Mental Health Case Manger for teens in foster care. I provided individual and family therapy to kids ages 8-18. During that time, I also worked for a private agency in Las Vegas providing therapy for children and adults. In 2015 I became a Clinical Program Manger overseeing an Early Childhood Program for Children ages 3 to 7. In 2019 I transferred to the Mobile Crisis Response Team working as a Clinical Program Manager. We offered mental health assessments to anyone under the age of 18 who was suffering with mental health struggles and offed short term therapy and case management services at no charge to the families. As much as I loved those jobs, I wanted to be a part of my community, Mesquite. In 2021 I began working for Senior Life Solutions at Mesa View Hospital. This program offers individual and group counseling for seniors experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety. To better serve my community I am opening my own practice to provide therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
